Government departments recently organized a publicity activity on theme of "Good Youngsters in the New Era" in Luoyang, central China's .
The event was supported by five departments: the Central Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress; the Ministry of Education; the Central Committee of the Communist Young League of China; the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF); and, China National Committee for the Wellbeing of the Youth.
The scheme praised 10 outstanding teenagers for various actions, skills, compassion and strength of character.
Diao Xingyu received recognition for providing voluntary services for over 2,600 hours.

The release activity took the form of short films, story-telling and on-the-spot interactions.
The five departments will continue to launch such activities in the future to help more teenagers establish correct outlook on life and encourage them to develop positive moral qualities.
